Our new data buoy with water quality sensor is ready for the first deployment in the Netherlands to monitor algae blooms in surface water for swimming.
This summer we will use two buoys to monitor algae blooms in swimming water. Under the buoy an Aquaread 6000 is mounted. It measures chlorophyll, blue and green algae, oxygen, temperature, pH and conductivity. The buoys are also equipped with a camera that takes a picture of the water surface every hour.
An integrated data logger sends the data and photos to the RMA Hydromet server and at the same time to the customer's server.
